I just wanted to share this beautiful quote by one of my favorite artists, Georgia O'Keeffe (1923) because I see this process that I believe Georgia was referencing in the quote below, everyday in my private psychotherapy practice.
"I found that I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say in any other way--things that I had no words for."
Again and again I see individuals create amazing images that reflect their story in a way that they just can't always describe in words...where words fall short...images, colors and imagination can offer profound opportunities to explore one's life story in a whole new way...so KEEP CREATING!!!!! Your soul will thank you!
